English program

English Skills Enhancement Program

This class aims to have the students score 80 points on the TOEFL-iBT through the English Skill Enhancement program which is aimed to improve the four categories of English skills (i.e. reading, writing, listening and speaking). The score 80 is the level required of students when taking classes in English at overseas universities. Students who have already achieved this score can take the Advanced Class to acquire the skills to write reports, make presentations and debate in English. Both the Basic Class and Advanced Class are run throughout the year.

Placement test

In order to take the English Skills Enhancement Program, students will first take the placement test. By using a trial examination which can be taken in the same form as the actual TOEFL-iBT, the students' four categories of skills (i.e. reading, writing, listening and speaking) will be evaluated. Students will take the test online by using computers. When there is a large number of applicants, students with the top grades shall be selected.
