  1. Physico-chemical and geotechnical properties of marine clays (Mineralogy, Chemistry, Consolidation, Shear strength)
  2. Prediction of the behavior and stability of earth structures (Earth pressure, Bearing capacity, Slope stability, Deformation analysis)
  3. Prevention of disaster in farmland and ground (Ground subsidence, Slope failure, Landslide, Soil degradation)
  4. Evaluation of microscopic behavior of clay soil under consolidation(Microstructure,Pore size distribution,Creep behavior)
  5. Performance of clay liner materials for containment of contaminants in landfill sites (Bentonite, Permeability, Heavy metal, Sorption)
