About us
Animals exhibit biological rhythms, e.g., daily rhythms and seasonal rhythms, in behaviors and physiologic functions. Our lab focuses on several topics in the biological rhythms, such as social jetlag, circadian disruption, chrononutrition, seasonal rhythms, growth regulation by photoperiod, and stress behaviors, using animal models. The areas include chronobiology, animal physiology, animal nutrition, behavioral science, endocrinology, neuroscience, and life science.
Our study will contribute to understanding of pathogenesis and nutritional treatment of human diseases and health promotion, as well as increases in productivity of livestock.
