\u3000\u3000\u3000\u3000\u3000By freezing silkworm ovaries, it is possible to preserve silkworm strains for a long period without annual breeding. In the morning, participants will perform ovary dissection and freezing, followed by ovary transplantation in the afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u3000\u3000\u3000\u3000\u3000At the Laboratory of Silkworm Genetic Resources at Kyushu University, we manage approximately 500 silkworm strains, including various mutant strains. Visitors will tour the facilities where numerous silkworms are bred. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u3000\u3000\u3000\u3000\u3000The Entomological Laboratory at Kyushu University houses a globally valuable collection of insect-type specimens from various taxonomic groups @219 Gallery<\/strong>. This tour will include a visit to the insect specimen collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tachibana Garden<\/strong>
The Tachibana Garden, a nationally designated scenic spot in Yanagawa, Fukuoka, is part of the former residence of the Tachibana family, lords of the Yanagawa Domain. Highlights include the Shotoen Garden, known for its elegant design, and the Tachibana Residence, showcasing Edo-period architecture. The garden offers a serene atmosphere and a glimpse into Japan’s feudal history.
