Agroecology

The agricultural production ecology field consists of the crop section and the horticultural section (vines, flowers, fruit trees). It aims to develop environmental conservation agriculture and material recycling agriculture while incorporating advanced information technology. To solve the problems in the agricultural field, we will use the fields, greenhouses, and laboratories of the attached farms in Haramachi Farm (24ha) and Orchard Sashinoguri Farm (20ha) to tackle basic and applied research themes. One of the attractions is that you can engage in research in an environment where you can experience the cultivation, harvesting, and cooking of agricultural products every season.
