Biomacromolecular material
We are studying the potential of resource polymers as material using the science of “rheology”. Rheology is simply a study related to “how materials deform and flow”. It’s a word I can’t hear, but rheology is deeply involved in our lives. For example, rheology is related to so-called textures such as throat stuffing and chewy foods, medical treatment using blood flow and coagulation characteristics, and liquefaction phenomena and landslides of land. This study is especially essential for the molding and processing of polymer materials that we are targeting.
Also, the “physical properties” of such materials are closely related to the “structure”. There are various ways to know the structure, but we mainly study the material structure using the scattering phenomenon.
