Forest Ecosystem Management
Our lab members belonging to University Forest have been studying various aspects of forest water and material cycling based on field measurements, statistical analysis, and modeling as follow:
1) Impacts of environmental changes (global warming, air pollution, etc.) on forest and stream ecosystems
2) Impacts of various forest issues (e.g. abandoned plantation forest, bamboo expansion, excess nitrogen loading, deer population increase) on water and material cycles
3) Linking water and material cycles to understand forest and stream ecosystem processes and hence developing watershed management practice
