Molecular Gene Technology
In the field of gene regulation, we will study a wide range of biological phenomena ranging from universal phenomena found in microorganisms to higher cell functions of higher vertebrates, and clarify the basis of life phenomena by clarifying the mechanism of genes. We are conducting research aiming at that. In my research, I mainly use experimental biological methodologies that collect and analyze data by methods of molecular biology and cell biology. Still, computer-based computer science using computers, so-called bioinformatics methodologies are also organic. We are aiming to elucidate the life phenomenon by incorporating it. We also use omics data such as transcriptomes and proteomes, that utilize the results obtained from the Genome Project, as well as genome information from next-generation sequencers.
