We conduct research that supports the future of food
The global population continues to grow, and it is predicted to reach 9.7 billion by 2050. Ensuring stable food production has become a worldwide challenge, with securing high-quality protein being particularly important.
Our laboratory conducts comprehensive research on biological functions of animals, especially livestock and poultry, from molecular to individual levels to address this challenge.
We focus not only on improving productivity but also emphasize animal welfare and environmental considerations, aiming to realize sustainable livestock farming based on scientific evidence.
