The Sixth Workshop on Interdisciplinary Sciences (WIS 2024)
Workshop on Interdisciplinary Sciences (WIS) is an annual international academic event held at Kyushu University in Fukuoka City, Japan.
Established in October 2019, WIS provides a vibrant forum for researchers and postgraduate students to showcase their
research in the interdisciplinary sciences.
WIS 2024 is a dynamic four-day event where researchers and postgraduate students can present
their latest research in a wide range of research fields.
Day 1 and 2: Explore research topics in interdisciplinary sciences, with presentations by international and domestic researchers.
Day 3 and 4: Brainstorming sessions

For November 30 - December 1, 2024:
5,000 JPY per person for students and staff affiliated with the following institutions:
Kyushu University, University of Teacher Education Fukuoka,
Kyushu Institute of Technology,
Saga University,
Nagasaki University,
Kumamoto University,
Oita University,
Miyazaki University,
Kagoshima University,
Kanoya University of Health and Sport Sciences,
University of the Ryukyus.
6,500 JPY per person for all other participants.
The fee includes a shared room for one night, a dinner, and a breakfast.
However, please note that personal items such as towels, toothbrushes, and yukatas are not provided.
While the Kuju Joint Training Center offers soap, shampoo, conditioner, and other essential toiletries,
we recommend bringing your own personal items for added comfort.
Complimentary transportation will be provided between the Ito Campus and the Kuju Joint Training Center
for participants of this workshop. This service is being offered by the Faculty of Agriculture, Kyushu University.
