オフィス概要

農学部グローバルゲートウェイオフィスは、
九州大学が進める令和6年度概算要求事業の文部科学省概算要求教育研究組織改革分（組織整備）の「国際教養に関する情報の一元化と一気通貫型の国際ナビゲーションを実現する拠点の整備」の一環として、農学分野における国際教育プログラムの企画・運営・質の向上を目的に、農学部に設置された国際教育推進オフィスです。

農学部・生物資源環境科学府では、これまで短期派遣・受入プログラムを中心とした国際教育に加え、多様な形態の国際的な学修・研究交流を継続的に実施してきました。これらの取り組みを通じて、短期交流から長期留学、ダブルディグリー（DD）へと段階的につながる国際教育の流れが形成されており、企画から運営、質保証までを含む実践的なノウハウを蓄積しています。

留学を考え始めた学生から、国際プログラムの企画・改善に取り組む教職員、教育連携を検討する海外大学まで。農学部グローバルゲートウェイオフィスは、国際教育の「入口」と「次の一歩」を一体的に支援する窓口として機能しています。

Office Overview

The Global Gateway Office of Faculty of Agriculture was established as a faculty-based international education promotion office under Kyushu University’s FY2024 Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) budget initiative for educational and organizational reform.
This initiative aims to develop a hub that centralizes information on international liberal arts education and provides seamless, end-to-end international education navigation.
Within this framework, the Gateway Office serves as a core platform for planning, operating, and enhancing the quality of international education programs in the field of agriculture.

The Faculty of Agriculture and the Graduate School of Bioresource and Bioenvironmental Sciences have long implemented a wide range of international educational and academic exchange activities, centered on short-term outbound and inbound programs.
Through these initiatives, a step-by-step international education pathway—from short-term exchanges to long-term study abroad and double degree (DD) programs—has been systematically developed, supported by accumulated practical expertise in program design, management, and quality assurance. From students beginning to explore study abroad opportunities, to faculty and staff seeking to design or improve international programs, and overseas partner universities considering academic collaboration, the Faculty of Agriculture Gateway Office functions as an integrated point of entry that supports both the first step and the next stage of international education.

  • 他部局との連携による国際教育プログラムの共同開発・ノウハウの共有
  • 長期留学・ダブルディグリー（DD）プログラム構築支援
  • 海外大学との協定締結・調印に関する調整・支援
  • セミナー・学会発表等を通じた国際教育の取り組みの情報発信

※ 上記に加え、国際教育に関する企画調整、学内外連携の支援、新たな教育モデルの検討や試行を行っています。

Key Activities

The Global Gateway Office of Faculty of Agriculture provides cross-cutting and practice-oriented support for a wide range of initiatives related to international education.

  • Planning, operation, and support of outbound and inbound programs, primarily within the Faculty of Agriculture
  • Joint development of international education programs and sharing of operational expertise in collaboration with other faculties and departments
  • Support for the development of long-term study abroad and double degree (DD) programs
  • Coordination and support for the conclusion and signing of agreements with overseas partner universities
  • Dissemination of information on international education initiatives through seminars, academic conferences, and other platforms
  • Planning and implementation of English proficiency enhancement programs, as well as pre-departure and post-study abroad education

In addition to the above, the Global Gateway Office engages in the coordination of international education initiatives, supports collaboration within and beyond the university, and explores and pilots’ new educational models.

なぜ、農学部が国際教育のゲートウェイを担うのか

1）グローバル課題と直結する学問分野

食料、環境、資源、持続可能性ー農学は、国や地域を越えて共有される地球規模課題に直結した学問分野です。学生、そして大学間の協働を自然に促し、国際教育を展開しやすい特性を備えています。

2）派遣・受入を基盤とした国際教育の実装力

農学部・生物資源環境科学府では、短期派遣や受入を基盤とした国際教育を継続的に実施し、教育交流から研究活動に至るまで、多様な国際的取り組みを積み重ねてきました。これらの実績により、企画から運営までを支える実践的なノウハウが蓄積されています。

３）英語による学位教育の先行モデル

農学部では大学院国際コース（International Graduate Program: IGP）、学部国際コース（International Undergraduate Program: IUP）をはじめ、学士・修士・博士をつなぐ英語学位教育を早期から制度化しており、長期留学やDDを支える確かな基盤があります。

4）実践的な学修を可能にする教育フィールド

農場、演習林、スマート農業施設、地域連携フィールドなどー福岡・糸島地域と連携した教育環境は、海外学生にとっても「日本で学ぶ意義」を実感できる内容です。

農学部だからこそ担える「国際教育の入口」

農学部では、短期派遣・受入 → 双方向交流 → 長期留学 → ダブルディグリー（DD）という国際教育の流れを体系化してきました。
農学部グローバルゲートウェイオフィスは、その取り組みを支え、つなぎ、学生一人ひとりの学修段階に寄り添いながら、農学分野から九州大学の国際教育を支える現場に近いゲートウェイとして機能していきます。
