I am very happy that I can do research on muscle stem cell physiology under a world-class professor with cutting-edge laboratory equipment. After I earn my Ph.D., I would like to help solve the world's health and food problems as a researcher.

This program has many study fields which allow me to learn everything that I am interested in, even subjects outside of my own field.  I am currently researching harmful algae which is a topic of great concern in fisheries-related industries. In the future, I would like to contribute to marine environmental protection efforts.

In the coil-type classes, talking with students with different backgrounds and having discussions let us hear diverse thoughts, which was a fascinating experience. Because of our different nationalities, we got many ideas when brainstorming food ingredients. It was interesting to see the differences there. It was fun to get to talk with people from all around the world about the project.
