Consortium of AMP
AMP was initiated in 2009 under the Asian Federation of Societies for Lactic Acid Bacteria (AFSLAB). To date, 19 institutes from ten countries have joined AMP. AMP is led by Dr. Yuan Kun Lee of National Univ. of Singapore, who is a former president of AFSLAB. Kyushu Univ. in Japan acts as the main research institute for gut microbiome analysis.
