Horticultural Science

Horticulture is an academic field that covers a wide variety of fruit trees, vegetables, and flowers cultivated all over the world. Horticulture Laboratory in the Kyushu University conducts educational research on growth control, the formation of seeds and varieties, breeding, conservation of genetic resources, and production for all fruit trees, vegetables, and flowers, and “diversity” of horticultural plants. We aim to clarify “universal phenomena” and “apply to society”.
