On November 6, 2024, at the 97th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Biochemical Society (Pacifico Yokohama), Dr. Sato of the B01 Sato Group was the organizer of a symposium entitled “Autophagy Mechanisms and Higher-Order Functions,” in which she participated as a speaker and engaged in lively discussions.
A research paper by Ishizuna et al. of the A01 Arimura Group has been published in the American Journal of Botany! It contains a detailed analysis of lotus flowering, along with beautiful photos.
November 1, 2024 Representative Arimura gave a lecture, seminar and introduction of this area at the Faculty of Science, Kobe University.
October 27-29, 2024 Dr. Ishihara, Dr. Ogasawara, and graduate student Ichikawa of B02 Ishihara group presented their research at Cell Symposia: Multifaceted Mitochondria 2024 held in Spain.
October 30, 2024 Dr. Ishihara of Group B02 participated as a speaker at Targeting Mitochondria, an international conference held in Berlin, and Dr. Yamada of Group A01 Numata participated and contributed to the conference as a Scientific Committee & Advisory Board member.
