Asian Microbiome Project (AMP) aims to gain an insight into gut microbial community as an interface between food and health in Asian population. Since AMP has been initiated in 2009 under Asian Federation of Societies for Lactic Acid Bacteria (AFSLAB), we have profiled gut microbial structures of more than a thousand Asian people in ten countries. By sharing information and knowledge gained through this project, we hope to promote health of Asian people.
