Resolution for Education：Cultivate professional scientists with potentials of designing of research, conducting experiments and understanding results in right way, and publication of outcomes precisely.
Ambition for Research：Through analysis of gut microbiome of people all over the world, I would like to understand gradually what kind of foods recruit what type of microbiome and its linkage with host health. To answer this question, I think it important for us to earnestly study on microbiology but also medical science and biological science, and what so ever. I welcome students with this same ambition.
Hobbies：Marathon, Guitor (my favorite guitarlist, Kazumi Watanabe, Larry Carlton, Jeff Beck, Nile Rogers, Randy Rose, Eddie Van Helen）

教育に対する豊富：広い視野をもち、新しい課題にも自ら柔軟に対応できる人材を育てたい。
研究に対する豊富：乳酸菌をはじめとする微生物の新しい能力を見出し、活用したいと考えています。様々な分離源から新しい能力をもった微生物を探索することは、微生物学の大きな醍醐味です。とくに主な研究対象としている、乳酸菌が生産する抗菌ペプチド・バクテリオシンは、多様性に富み、広い用途での利用が期待されます。遺伝子工学、ペプチド工学、タンパク質工学、培養工学などの力も活かしながら、皆さんと一緒に微生物の新たな一面を引き出したいと考えています。趣味：読書、スポーツ観戦（とくにサッカー観戦、アビスパ福岡）
