ICoMST Conference Presentation Report

From August 9 to 14, I participated in IComst2026 in Daejeon, South Korea, where I gave a poster presentation. It was my first time attending an international conference, and I was in an unfamiliar place, so I felt quite anxious. However, I was able to successfully complete my presentation.
During my poster presentation, I explained my research in English in a way that my audience could understand. During the Q&A session, I received questions offering unique perspectives because the questioners were researchers from different fields. I felt that the insights I gained from the conference would provide new direction for my future research.
Furthermore, listening to poster and oral presentations by researchers from around the world was inspiring and allowed me to encounter research backgrounds different from those in Japan. Although I will graduate in six months, I am determined to cherish every day and devote myself wholeheartedly to my research.
