As a core university in the region, Taibak University is expected to play an important role in sustainable rural and regional development through its teaching and research activities. On the other hand, the capacity of the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry in terms of research and teaching methods is weak since the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry and its related faculties were newly established in 2004. This project aims to improve the capacity of the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry in rural development in the northwestern region of Vietnam by strengthening its capacity in teaching and research and enhancing outreach activities in the northwestern region, and to play a central role in agricultural and rural development in the northwestern region as a leading human resource development and research institution in the region. The University has taken on this challenge.
